Hublot | Meca-10 Black Magic

Role | Sound & Music

A uniquely aggressive & industrial soundscape for Ditroit Studio’s Hublot Meca-10 Black Magic directors cut. Ditroit Studio felt a mix of techno-industrial sounds would have perfectly connected with the most intimate nature of the product. The resulting audio  not only elevates the visual experience but also establishes a sensory synergy, enveloping the audience in a captivating fusion of aesthetics and sound.

Sound design and music for the full-length film was developed as a part of the research and development process [commissioned by Ditroit], although it was not used in the final version. The soundscape explores aggressive editing techniques to achieve a frenetic energy. It mixes aesthetics from industrial & experimental electronic music with hyper-pop to highlight the contemporary and bold qualities in the design.
